[Ain poking his head out of the bakery like "I'm gonna Getcha"...

Pavlova will hear him laugh very warmly before he tucks the letter away, runs the plate inside, and goes Pav-huntin'... which is a funny way of saying "tracking the giggling". It doesn't turn out to be that difficult.

The plate is extremely cute, by the way. He thinks he'll keep it in his room rather than using it to eat off of, since it seems more like a cherished trinket and not something he wants getting scratched up by utensils.]

Haha, where are you? You should come out so I can thank you properly, you know.

He isn't capable of flight despite his wings, so he was in fact just hiding behind the corner like a silly. Its not hard to find him at all, he's barely trying.

Does not stop Ain from getting Pav attacked (hugged around the waist bc he's little), though. ]

[ Happy flaps! Ain gets a little squeeze. ]

[Ain will pick Pav up and give him a squeeeeeze. Apparently Ain is much stronger than his build would suggest, because Pavolva will be out of breath by the time he chooses to set his new friend down on the ground again.]

I did~. I had no idea you had such a power. That was a lot of little hearts you had to paint! I'm surprised your wrists haven't fallen off from working on all the details~.

[ crunch. Ough his back. He's reminded vividly of uncle Burning Spice's six-armed death squeeze hugs, and he was not anticipating that from someone with the phisique of a weeping willow.

At least he was let down soon after. ]

It's no big deal, I like painting, and if I'm going to do something, I'm going to do it right!

[ His power is a little hard to describe by virtue of how versatile it is. Just saying that he can see relationships is accurate but reductive and they'd be here all day if he mentioned every little thing he could see. ]

I like my power. It's nice to be able to see how people get along with each other. People don't like it when I try to help though, so that's kind of frustrating. I've been careful so no one gets mad at me about it yet.

Haha, it sounds convenient~. Imagine getting to know how someone feels about you so easily... haha. That sure would make life easier.

[Ain has an anxiety disorder. Clearly.]

I kind of have emotion powers myself, but not to that degree. My magic is slightly controlled by them, but I don't really understand much of it. I've never been good at emotions to begin with. I only got them a few years ago.

Oh, that probably would be really nice, but I can't see what people feel about me. Everyone else, though. Even people who aren't here.

Emotions are hard for people who always had them too so that's not just you. What do emotions do to your magic?

Really? Everyone who was born with them makes it seem so easy and intuitive...

[He swears he will never understand you Emotion-Havers. You guys have names for so many emotions and Ain knows like, three actual feeling names and forty-five different ways to describe feeling anxious without using the word.]

Well, if I'm angry, I can normally hit things harder. Or if I really like someone, I've been told my healing magic is more effective, but it loses some of its effectiveness if I'm mad at them or don't like them very much. Sometimes when I experience really strong emotions, I briefly lose control of them in small little bursts, but what happens there is random. Sometimes I cast a gust of wind, sometimes the curtains are on fire...
