hi Stickbones, today I bring you a freak with extremely astute senses for the supernatural and such. Ain, being an angel, has A Couple Things he can do without even trying, one of which being sensing spirits/ghosts, demons, deities, possessions, and other angels. He can also, for some fucking reason, sense anomalies in timelines - i.e. if something is there that Shouldn't ordinarily be there like they time travelled or something, he will pick that up. He can't sense the flow of time though, just when something doesn't fit into the puzzle. The last thing he has a Weird Thing With is mind magic; he is completely immune to it and can nullify it being done to others if they're near him. "Why is he like this" I don't know, Elrians are weird, anyway—

Anyone with similar supernatural senses or other weird sixth sense things will be able to tell that Ain is an angel and that he is Lying when he says he is not. You are allowed to call him out on this.

Since we have a handful of Dudes With Things Going On that could be subject to Ain's Bullshit (or not), please fill out my Very Cool Form TY. Opting out of anything means simply that he cannot do his weird sensory bullshit on you and the IC excuse for this is simply you are an enigma to him and he hates it. Opting in probably means he will approach you to say to your face that you're a little weird.

Opt-In for Angel Senses: Consent to have Ain be able to sense that you are either a spirit/ghost, demon, deity, possessed, or an angel (or some other weird thing I might have forgotten to list here like being dead?) - if so please tell me what the Thing Is that he can sense and any details surrounding it if applicable. If it doesn't apply N/A.
Opt-In for Anomaly Senses: Consent to have Ain sense if you ~~or your loved ones~~ have any fucky wucky timeline bullshit going on, if so list what it is, if this does not apply N/A.
Opt-In? for Ain Stopping Mind Magic: "Opt-in?" because it would be more fun to me to hash this out if it comes up rather than stopping the fun at the gate, but I don't pretend to know your life and maybe you're a fan of gates.

I don't think Wolfwood or Sesa are cool enough to classify as any of the things Ain might be able to sense, but I'm down for all of these things regardless! Wolfwood obviously is going to be a little more touchy about shit if Ain did something unexpected that took his agency away, but obvs that's a hashing out as it comes up thing like you said waves hand

Opt-In for Angel Senses: Yes! Joshua is also an angel and a local demigod to Shibuya specifically. He's fairly powerful but not all-powerful. I don't mind if he senses Joshua while he's invisible either.

Opt-In for Anomaly Senses: Joshua has sat in on multiple doomed timelines, so have at it!

Opt-In? for Ain Stopping Mind Magic: I am in for the rule of funny so ABSOLUTELY but let's talk about it when it comes up.

Opt-In for Angel Senses: Does not apply, he is just a simple cookie. (He does have light magic though?)

Opt-In for Anomaly Senses: Does not apply AFAIK!

Opt-In? for Ain Stopping Mind Magic: Does not apply, CC doesn't do mind magic. But someone else's mind magic effects can be dispelled, sure!

Opt-In for Angel Senses: Dipper might ping to him weirdly. He's not quite human not quite a demi-god, but a secret third thing. He's got weird supernatural blood and his true form is a squid. He might also pick up on his multiple deaths? He's died twice. One of those times was because he tried to exorcise a demon out of a friend but he fucked up the ritual and it rebounded so hard that dipper turned into a horrible monster and almost killed his loved ones. trace amounts of that demons influence might be still on him if you squint.

Opt-In for Anomaly Senses: Dipper has time traveled multiple times, has crossed several dimensions and him and his family are kind of like weird anomalies that exist outside their proper timelines/dimensions!

Opt-In? for Ain Stopping Mind Magic: Almost all of Dipper's abilities are mind magic so yes, please dazai his ass when its appropriate.

Opt-In for Angel Senses: kiera says they are human. they are at least half human! they are also half vampire. :) not technically undead, but they have Very Off Vibes. angel sense also applies to any of their animal forms should they be around town in them.

Opt-In? for Ain Stopping Mind Magic: it's unlikely they'll even attempt to use it, but if kiera ever tries to use vampiric hypnosis feel free to cockblock. (far more likely is they sometimes drink small amounts of emotions through eye contact or touch, but i wouldn't do that without asking first anyway. but again, he can totally stop them and call them out.)

Opt-In for Angel Senses: Yes yes. He should be able to pick up on the Phoenix, albeit in a muted way since Luca's own connection is sort of dulled right now.

Opt-In? for Ain Stopping Mind Magic: It might be fun if Ain had a way of stopping Luca if he ever went full Phoenix but let's put a pin in this one to talk about if it ever comes up!

Opt-In for Angel Senses: yes and ho boy let me tell you what the fuck is even up here

- lifespan is magically shortened by half
- also has the Light of Freedom, which grants her borderline immortality (except, gestures at above)
- carries the Guardian's power aka Elder Fairy Cookie's magic aka she can now transform into the queen of the fairies. so she pings as half-alive, hella cursed, godlike and fairy.

Opt-In for Anomaly Senses: so she technically has two bodies existing at the same time so theres. also... that. (this ties into being hella cursed as well.)

Opt-In for Angel Senses: yeah. Elder Faerie is Not Human, mostly Faerie Cookie. he's lived for a Very Long Time. he's also Very Dead. at least, he should be in his timeline.

Opt-In? for Ain Stopping Mind Magic: EF doesn't have any mind-altering powers, but if something is about to happen to him and Ain knows, he can put a stop to it!

Opt-In for Angel Senses: he is a demon who used to be a human. his cells are both his own And foreign simultaneously - along the lines of Infected cells taking over his body are what made him into a demon. so less demon in the hell sense and more in the monster sense, but you get it

Opt-In for Anomaly Senses: technically his being alive AND his demon cells are an anomaly -- both he and his progenitor should technically be dead just by merit of their ages, and his transformation could be considered a death in and of itself

also he's Very dead in canon. maybe ain can sense that he technically "should" be his human self, since his spirit reverted to that as he passed on, but -- details

Opt-In? for Ain Stopping Mind Magic: i would assume this applies to akaza's extrasensory perception, so feel free to block off his ability to sense ain's fighting spirit if you like!

Opt-In for Angel Senses: Ye! He's a demon, who was formerly human a longass time ago. If Ain would be able to get further specifics, he's a Jeoseung Saja - or some bastardization of one, anyway. The Saja Boys don't really act properly for them, but that might be Gwi-ma's fault.
