I really don't want to talk to either of them. They won't tell me what they fight about — Nikolaus said to not worry about it when I asked. [Ain, you really don't want to know about at least one of those incidents.] But clearly they're not just verbal arguments, if that whole thing was anything to go by. I'd be less mad if they'd be honest with me. I don't care if they spar or whatever. But...

[He huffs.]

Anyway, I don't want to talk to either of them until they stop lying to me. They can come find me on their own. I'm tired of meditating between two people who are only pretending to listen.

...If that's what you want. I think we should talk about it more tomorrow, once you've rested some, though. Does that sound fair?

[ And, fortunately, they're not too far from the apartments, so they're basically pulling up there now. City life sure is convenient. ]

I don't want to talk about it tomorrow. My final statement is that I'm done with them until they can both stop lying to me and be adults for once.

[As the car pulls up, Ain wordlessly slides out of the back seat, only briefly stretching his back to get rid of the crick in his neck before he starts heading inside.
