CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Ainchase Ishmael
Canon: Elsword
Canon point: End of Tirnog (Chapter 54)
Age: ~505 (physically appears 23)

Personality: Please answer the following questions:
» What drives your character and keeps them going?
First and foremost, protecting his friends/those dear to him. This is... pretty much all he lives for these days, and was quite literally the wish he gave to the goddess Elria as a plea to allow him to continue being with his friends after he sort of died??? The second most is figuring out how to be "human", because he's realised that his identity as an angel gets in the way of a lot of things and he values his Very Mortal friends so much that he's trying to figure out how to be more like them. It's... kind of working for him.

» How do they envision their ideal life?
Honestly, he would be content to just spend the rest of his life latched onto his friend group of like ~14 other people. Adventuring until the end of time or maybe retiring somewhere and just hanging out, it doesn't matter so long as he's with them.

» What aspect of their personality distinguishes them the most?
Ain is particularly passive-aggressive almost constantly, more so when he's mad of course. His ire is very indirect in that way. He's enigmatic, usually smiling by default, even if that smile is faked or semi-neutral. This makes him pretty impossible to read unless you're Used To him, at which point he's... still difficult to deal with but a little less so. On top of that, his refusal to call anyone other than those he has an incredible deal of affection and/or respect for by name could be seen as passive-aggression or just blatant disregard for their existence, your mileage may vary. Also the fact that he's unintentionally rude (sometimes the rudeness is calculated, sometimes he just doesn't understand how to talk to others) and oh yeah he just doesn't understand his emotions like, literally at all, he just got these maybe 1-2 years ago. He's quite the mixed bag.

» What quality do they value most in others?
"Respectable people", though what that means varies heavily. It could be respectable as in "helped him out" as is the case with Harnier, or it could be respectable as in "genuinely a good person" as is the case with Elsword. (Yes the name of the game is shared with a character. Don't worry about it.)

» What is their fondest memory?
Meeting his very special friends! They all met at different points, but he'd be able to easily recall the hows and whys and circumstances surrounding it, even if some of them were not so great. Please ask him about his friends.

» What was their last lie?
"I'm a human priest". Always that one. Never anything else.

Powers/abilities:
SPIRITUALISM: Ain's more "angelic" form. In this form, he is weightless and is able to float upon the air. Being in this form slightly augments his magic, but it is tiring to maintain; he will shift back to his regular human-esque form within a few minutes.

EDEL EIDS: The tri-coloured, glowing glyphs that swirl around Ain give him various abilities, including augmenting some of his magic and healing. In particular:
Mut: Augments Ain's magic, making his attacks hit harder.
Rein: Gives Ain's magic regenerative properties, making him able to heal. This healing is extremely limited in that it can only heal physical injuries, and slowly at that; it cannot regenerate lost body parts, cure illnesses or diseases, or revive the dead.
Wille: Increases the attack range of Ain's magic while also being able to sometimes slow the enemy down with ice magic. These two effects are not stackable with one another. When in combat, Ain often prefers to use Wille's slowing abilities.

OTHER MAGIC: There are four different wiki pages that detail exactly how his skills/magic ingame work (scroll down to the "Skill Tree" blurb on the page if you choose to peruse here; clicking the icon brings you to a video of the skill if applicable). Much of Ain's magic can be described as "area of effect" spells. Ain is definitely more of a "support caster" than someone who would be seen on the front lines, and is a somewhat mediocre performer in hand-to-hand combat. That being said, he can summon a glasslike sword and similarly-styled spears, although they're actually green and not blue (this is the clearest possible image I can use because the game is crunchy). He also possesses some minor wind magic to boot, sort of a "jack of all trades, master of none" situation.

Inventory:
His pendulum, which is used as a sort of arcane focus. It's quite large, and the cord is thick. He could probably bludgeon someone with it.

Demon: Poultergeist
